What Is the Disciple Maker Index?
The Disciple Maker Index (DMI) is a parish survey that helps us reflect on our journey of faith and how we are growing as disciples of Jesus Christ.
At St. Mary Parish, we are blessed in many ways. In the coming weeks, we will be working to identify more of these blessings as well as opportunities for growth as we look toward the future.
To help guide this process, St. Mary Parish is partnering with Catholic Leadership Institute, an organization that works with Catholic leaders and parishes to look honestly at where they are and where God may be calling them to grow. Their approach brings together practical insights, such as survey data, with the mission of Jesus Christ.
Beginning March 29, all parishioners are invited to participate in the Disciple Maker Index survey. This survey will be available for six weeks and asks parishioners to reflect on their experience of faith and parish life at St. Mary Parish in Hales Corners.
The Disciple Maker Index is designed to:
-
Invite parishioners to reflect on their journey of discipleship
-
Enable parish leadership to make thoughtful, data-informed decisions
-
Help all of us grow in our faith
Every member of St. Mary Parish is included in this process so that every voice can help shape what comes next. The insights gathered will help us strengthen our life as intentional disciples and better prepare our parish for the future.
How to Participate
The survey will be available March 29 through May 9 and can be completed in several ways:
-
A link on our parish website
-
Email reminders through Flocknote
-
Kiosks in the Marian Room before and after Masses
-
Paper copies available by request at the parish office
A comprehensive summary of the findings will be shared with parishioners after the survey is processed.
Thank you for sharing your voice and helping to shape what comes next at St. Mary Parish.
