Service Overview
At St. Mary Hales Corners Parish School, we live in a Christ-centered enviroment. As such, community service is fundamental to all that we do at our school.
Hunger for Haiti. Small Meal. Big Impact.
As an example, last year at Lent, the 5K classes invited parishioners to "Hunger for Haiti". Parishioners replaced any number of their own meals with disaster relief meal packs and gave the money they would have spent on groceries to the Haiti Relief Fund.
Haiti Gifts
In February of 2018, St. Mary missioners visited children from Catholic elementary school in Latiboliere to give them the bracelets and cards made with love by our children of St Mary's. The kids of the 3K, 4K, and 5K were very excited to receive their gifts! Did you know? Haitian custom is to not smile for cameras?
Community Service.
Along with our commitment to quality education, we will highlight the importance of community service and the understanding of Catholic Social Teachings. Each class will work with our parish ministry partners to ensure that service is embedded in our academic program.

Our teachers have always felt the importance of educating their students on ways to help others.
