School Background and History:

In September 1954, St. Mary Parish expanded its mission to include a parish school. A long anticipated parish school opened, with eight rooms, a kitchen and a hall, and the School Sisters of St. Francis became the primary teachers. There were 231 students who attended this new school.

Since graduating its first class of 17 students in 1955, St. Mary Parish School has provided a Catholic education to approximately 5,000 children.  Whether you graduated over 50 years ago, in the past decade, or the last year, we hope that the years have been filled with many blessings made possible through the grace of God, your faith, and the foundations established by your parents and teachers.

Today, St. Mary Parish School is a vibrant community, sending forth graduates to various high schools, preparing them to embrace the world and share their talents.  Staying in touch with you is important to us. We are always interested in staying connected to our alumni. Whether it’s a friendly email, organizing an event, or stopping by to talk to teachers and share your memories, we love to hear from you.  St. Mary alumni are testimony to the value of Catholic education, especially in today’s challenging world.
