Young Neighbors in Action

St. Mary Youth Ministry is excited  to announce our new mission experience for high school youth, entitled Young Neighbors in Action.

Young Neighbors is a week-long, Catholic service learning experience for teens that have completed grades 9-12. It is grounded in Scripture, Catholic social teaching, and lived experiences.

This July. our group of missionaries will travel to Nebraska where they will spend one week serving on the Winnebago Indian Reservation. Our group will be working  alongside other youth and adults from Catholic parishes and schools across the country.

Extended service trips like Young Neighbors in Action form community and build friendships while challenging us to live in solidarity with those we serve.

Teens need an opportunity to use their gifts, talents and to answer the call to live the Good News!  There is great potential in our young people to make a difference in the world.  Who better than the youth of St. Mary to lead the way?
