Pastoral Council

St. Mary's Pastoral Council is a consulting and planning body that considers the needs of the parishioners and the community at large. The Pastoral Council functions in an advisory capacity and sets direction for the parish by developing plans and approving policies to fulfill the parish mission statement: Celebrating spiritual growth, centered in Christ, through Word, Sacrament and Service.

Our council consists of 16 members: the parish priests, two trustees, 12 members at large; each serving a 3 year term. Counselors rotate annually, with four new members each year, selected each summer through a process of discernment. Meetings are currently held on a monthly basis, on the second Thursday evening of each month, except for July and December.

Membership on Pastoral Council is an excellent opportunity for individuals to serve the parish.
