Southwest Interfaith Program (SWIP)
This non-profit organization assists adults over the age of 60 who are in need. The mission is to provide services for older adults so they can remain in their homes or apartments as long as possible. Volunteers are needed to provide services such as transportation, visiting homebound individuals, minor home repairs, yard work, snow removal, clerical work, and assisting clients with paperwork. Some SWIP volunteers are retired while others work fulltime. The time commitment varies and is flexible according to your availability. If you know an older adult who needs assistance, or if you are interested in volunteering contact the SWIP Office.
