*PARISH SUBSIDY:

This year, St. Mary Parish School will invest $6,070 per student in their spiritual, academic, and social development.  The difference between your tuition bill and this cost is subsidized by the members of the Parish.  For the Parish to do this, we need everyone’s participation.

ALL SCHOOL FAMILIES are expected to:

  • Attend Sunday Mass on a regular basis.
  • Be registered and active parishioners.
  • Be involved in school/parish ministries and service opportunities.
  • Pledge to give annually to the Parish and fulfill that pledge.  We strongly suggest a minimum contribution of $1,000 per family, per year, toward the support of the Parish, depending on your financial ability.

NEW STUDENTS:

All incoming new students in Grades 3K-8 will be assessed a $75.00 one-time, non-refundable registration fee per child due at the time of registration.

529 and EDVEST:

The new tax law speaks to the eligibility of private grade school tuition under 529 educational savings plans.  If you are saving for your student’s college education and prefer to use this vehicle for tuition payment, contact your tax and investment advisors.

TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM:

St. Mary Parish has a tuition assistance program to help parish families who are experiencing temporary financial difficulties.  All families interested in applying for assistance should complete the application (available on the School Website) and return it to the Director of Administrative Services at the Parish Office no later than June 1, 2018. There is a limited amount of assistance available; consequently time is of the essence.  Your application is kept in strict confidence.

TUITION PAYMENT DEFAULT:

Tuition is a financial obligation of both parents, and families falling behind on their payment obligations may make arrangements to work with the Director of Administrative Services on a manageable Tuition Payment Agreement.  Defaulting risks your child’s enrollment status. Transcripts, student files and report cards may be held (excluding health records), until payment or payment arrangements have been made. In extreme cases, St Mary reserves its right to take collection action.

Down Payment Due May 1, 2018

A nonrefundable 10% tuition down payment is due by May 1, 2018.  Down payments paid after May 1, 2018 are subject to a $50 administrative fee.
