Wondering how you will handle the holidays? Then join the Holiday Grief Support Group, A Time to Hope, A Time to Heal, beginning Monday evening November 6 and running through December 11, 2006, 7:00 - 9:00 PM (six consecutive Monday evenings) in Room 312C. Spring Grief Suport GroupMondays, March 5 – April 16, 2007 Another Group to process grief together will meet in the Spring on Monday evenings beginning in March 2007. Night of Healing for the BereavedNovember 2, 2006, 6:00 P.M. Each year on or near All Souls Day, the St. Mary community invites those within the parish who have lost loved ones to death to come to a special healing liturgy and pot luck supper. This year you will receive a special invitation for Thursday evening, November 2, at 6:00 P.M. to gather with your family and friends to celebrate the memories of your loved ones in the context of a healing liturgy. Divorce Recovery Series: A Process for GrowthWhether divorce was a choice for you or you had no choice, it is a major disruption in your life. Everything changes, including your very identity. How do you put a handle on it all, mourn the losses, and embrace the opportunities? Marianne Skrobiak, M.S., a psychotherapist, former Adult and Family Minister, and a pioneer in the area of divorce recovery, presents a series of six evenings (one each week) to help those who are dealing with all aspects of divorce. Offered by parishes in the area, the series is usually held in late summer/early fall.
