Thanksgiving Bread Exchange

Each Thanksgiving Day St. Mary’s Parish celebrates with a 9:00 A.M. liturgy where we have a Bread Exchange. Just find your favorite, store-bought bread, or make your own. Wrap it up and put your name and phone number on a card inside. When you come to church, place your bread on the table in front of the altar and choose another family’s bread to take home to your Thanksgiving table. Through the day, take a moment to call the person or family and greet them. It is a fun way to stay connected with people who prayed with you that morning. A great tradition!
